The teen heart throbs' "Jonas Brothers: The 3d Concert Experience" managed an estimated gross of $12.7 million from 1,1271 screens and a 9,992 per screen gross. That is roughly one third the gross of last years "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour," which opened on less screens but grossed $31.8 million.
The $12.7 million was not even good enough to nab the boy first place. That spot went to holdover and cross dresser extraordinaire Tyler Perry and his "Madea Goes to Jail." The laugher grossed $16.5 million for a cume of $64.8 million.
